WP6: A Prosopography of the Eanna scribes and social network analysis

Description

This WP will be conducted by the Jena project part. Using the collective biography of the Eanna scribes as a starting point for the investigation into their work and the Files they produced (see WP 7), WP 6 will create a prosopography of this well-defined and well documented group of individuals. The prosopography will go beyond a mere update of Kümmel’s now outdated prosopographic study of the Eanna scribes (Kümmel 1979), while Bongenaar 1997, the most comprehensive prosopographic study on the temple community of Ebabbar, will serve as a useful guideline for the analysis of the Eanna material.
