Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-ēṭir-napšāti (deputy governor of the Sealand, šanû) and Ṣillaya to Marduk-ēṭir (/Bēl-šumu-iškun//Dābibī, Temple Scribe, ṭupšar bīti), “their brother”, complaining that the men do not want to collect silver to give it to Marduk-nāṣir (MN) anymore. They tell the recipient not to give any silver from the prebendary income (pappasu) of the barbers to anyone other than MN, so that MN can do his work, which needs to go on. The sender also tells the recipient to take 10 or 15 minas of silver, as much as is due to the High Priest (šatammu), stressing that he should not be negligent about this (lā šelû) and pretend that the sender did not write to him about this.
