Start of the DigEanna project
The project DigEanna has started in October 2024 with an international team at the universities of Jena, Vienna, and Warsaw. We will close an important knowledge gap in Neo-Babylonian studies by doing a comprehensive investigation of the texts concerning the Eanna temple as a body of documentary data, that is as an ‘archive’.
Currently, we are preparing paraphrases of all the pertinent texts and developing standards for descriptions, typology, and translations.
