Šamaš-udammiq/Ina-tēšî-ēṭir and Anu-mukīn-apli/Nanāya-iddin, oblates of the Lady of Uruk, guarantee to provide (izuzzu Š) 50 oblates of the Lady of Uruk to serve as archers in the outposts (kādu). Each month, they will inspect (sanāqu) the oblates and ensure there are 50 of them, not including the hirelings (agru) of Ištar-alik-pāni. They will give the oblates to Šamaš-erība, chief of outposts (rab kādāni), and Šaddapi of (tp)Ḫarzibu.

Paraphrase 1

Order for a monthly inspection of archers. Šamaš-mudammiq/Ina-tēši-ēṭir and Anu-mukīn-apli/Nanāya-iddin, temple oblates (širkū), are in charge of 50 oblates serving as archers at lookout posts (kadānu). Each month they are to check them – not counting the daily workers of Innin-ālik-pāni – and return them to Šamaš-ēriba, leader of the lookout posts, and Šaddapi, the Ḫarzibean. Paraphrase 2

Guarantee for the performance of guard duty.

A1 and A2, the temple-serfs (širku) of the Lady-of-Uruk, guarantee (pūtu našû) to deliver 50 temple-serfs, archers (qaštu) of the outposts (kādu), to B, the chief of the outposts (rab kadāni) in Ḫarzibāya. These 50 temple-serfs are sent in addition to the hired labourers (agru) that C examined (sanāqu) in the outposts this month.
