Letter of Marduk-erība to the Royal Resident (qīpu), the High Priest (šatammu) and the Temple Scribe (ṭupšar bīti), “his lords”, about pedestals of the Lady-of-Uruk which were wrongfully removed by Nabû-šumu-iddin (and which likely served as field markers). He also informs them that Ālu-lūmur set […] up in a field and placed the goddess Bābu in it, but Iaqabu-ili transferred the field to the Lady-of-Uruk in the presence of the council of the men of Dinnuru. The sender stresses that the field belongs to the Lady-of-Uruk and that the elders know about this. He also tells the recipients about a further wrongdoing by NŠI, about a house/an estate that does not belong to that man and that Ālu-lūmur’s son was sent to the opening of the gate of Uruk and took a(n)/the house/estate as well. In closing, he stresses that the senders should not relinquish the field of the Lady-of-Uruk.
