Paraphrase

Letter of Tabnēa to Ṣilli-šarri and Dadānu, “his brothers”, accompanying Šamaš-erība (ŠE) who was sent to the recipients to pick up outstanding silver. He informs them that Nabû-kēšir, with whom the addressees talked about silver, did not give him the remainder (rēḫtu) of the silver. He now emphatically asks them to give ŠE the outstanding silver because he needs it and reminds the recipients that one of their allowances (kurummatu) is due from him, and that he sent this letter to them out of concern (kī nakutti šapāru). He tells them not to delay ŠE. In closing, he asks for one sturdy (kittu) fattened sheep.
