(f)Ēṭirtu ((f)E), wife of Nabû-zēru-ukīn (NZU), oblate of Ištar of Uruk, clarifies the descend of their son Nabû-uṣuršu (NU) before 8 freemen (mār banî). NU had stated that Marduk-šumu-uṣur (MŠU) is his father, but (f)E now says that MŠU did not take her as wife (ana aššūtu rašû), and that NU is her eldest son from (lapāni) NZU. Upon questioning, NU confesses (eli ramni kânu D), and promises to write the name of NZU in all his debt notes (uʼiltu).
