Nergal-šumu-ibni/Bēl-nāṣir//Aḫu-yā’ūtu purchases a fallow field (eqel kišubbî), designated later in the text both as a field and a house plot, from Mušallim-Marduk/Nabû-iddin//Šangû-Ninurta (MM).
The parcel is located in Uruk in the quarter (erṣetu) of the (tp)Kanisurra Gate. It measures 80 × 20 cubits and borders a wide street, a thoroughfare of the god and the king, the house plots of Nabû-šumu-iškun/Širiktu(//Naggāru), and Bēl-aḫḫē-iddin/Bēl-šimânni, and (the property of) Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nabû-šumu-ibni.
3 minas 10 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is paid together with (or: including, adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of 3 shekels of silver. MM relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his [...] household. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.
Written in the presence of Bēl-ušallim, the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and 4 witnesses introduced as ‘elders’ (šību).
Scribe: Bēl-nāṣir/Nabû-zēru-ukīn//Kidin-Marduk, the writer of the tablet (šāṭir ṭuppi).
The document includes a clause concerning fingernail impressions of MM, and the tablet is marked with them.
