Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Bēltia from the [x]th to the 21st day (of the present month) for 6 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-ušabši) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Nabû-šumu-iddin). 4 witnesses (including Ahu-lūmur, a son of A) and the scribe, also defined as writer of the tablet (šaṭir ṭuppi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
