Paraphrase

Letter by a broken sender to Mūrānu (Nabû-bāni-aḫi//Ekur-zākir) and Balāṭu (/Sîn-ibni//Rēˀi-alpi) (temple scribes, ṭupšarru ša Eanna), “his fathers”, complaining that his work is hard. In broken context, he is involved with ships going to (tp)Ḫit, and requests that the recipients give four large ships to Guzānu who is with them as well as the allowances (kurummatu) for 30 workers. He also informs them that 5 spades are broken. After a broken passage in which content phrased in direct speech is lost, the text mentions 10 kudurru-baskets for 1 shekel of silver.
