Appointment of Šamaš-lē’i/Šamaš-šumu-līšir to monitor the palm groves on the bank of the Takkiru canal. Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, appoints (ipqid) Šamaš-lē’i to monitor the palm groves between the Bitqa-ša-Bēl-ēṭir-canal and the Silim-Bēl-canal and to protect their fruiting.
