Arrangements regarding 17 (text mistakenly: 10) archers of the shepherds of the Lady of Uruk, whom Sîn-iddin, Royal Resident (qīpu) of Eanna, handed over to Zēr-Bābili/Ea-dayyān (ZB), chief of runners (rab musaḫḫirē). The archers will serve (izuzzu) under (ina pāni) Ina-tēšî-ēṭir/Bēl-īpuš (ITE). He will hand them over to the king. He will also summon (dekû) 10 archers as their replacement (kutallu) and hand them over to Nergal-ušallim, chief of flocks (rab būli) of the Lady of Uruk, to be sent to outposts (kādu), and the rest of them will be distributed (lit. given) among (libbu) the herdsmen of the Lady of Uruk.
Should someone (else) summon anybody for the military camp (madaktu), this person will pay to ZB 12 minas of silver for each archer as …. He is also not allowed to summon the replacements for […] with the agents.
These 17 archers are: ITE, Nanāya-ēreš/Īnī-il, Šamaš-ibni/Amīlâ and his brother Šullumāya/Amīlâ, Bēl-lē’i/Nabû-ušallim, Nabû-īpuš/Tamgibi-il, Marduk/Aḫḫēšāya, Amīlâ/Lūḫūya, Bānia/Šulāya, Aplāya/Nabû-gāmil, Nabû-aḫḫē-erība/Idī-il, Rēmūt-ili/Innin-zēru-ibni, Šumu-ukīn/Nabû-aḫu-ēreš and his brother Nabû-ēṭir/Nabû-aḫu-ēreš, Nergal-īpuš/Nabû-zēru-iqīša, Aplāya/Sîn-ibni, Šamaš-zēru-ibni/Iddināya.
