On the day either a witness or an informer proves that Nabû-mukīn-zēri/Marduk-ēṭir//Ša-ṭābtišu (NMZ) received (kânu D) either silver or gold from Itti-Šamaš-balāṭu, a thief, and from the goldsmith Kalbi-Bābu/Nādinu, (another) thief, or that he cast stolen gold, whatever amount the witness proves (kânu D) to him, he shall pay (nadānu) it thirtyfold to the Lady-of-Uruk.
Nabû-ēṭir-napšāti/Šamaš-erība//Arad-Ea (NEN) assumes guarantee (našû) for NMZ. When the High Priest (šatammu) will summon (rēšu našû) him, NEN will bring (him) (abāku) and hand him over (nadānu).
