Paraphrase

This is the outcome (t: sentence (šipṭu)) of a dispute about (f)Kuttāya ((f)K), a dedicated woman and oblate of the Lady of Uruk. Her statement that her owner (f)Šarḫāya ((f)Š, wife of Nabû-udammiq, deputy governor (šanû) of (tp)Bīt-Amukāni, dedicated her to the Lady of Uruk during the reign of Nabopolassar (scribal error for Nebukadnezar?), had been objected by Aḫulap-Ištar/Arad-Innin (AI), who claimed (f)K as his slave (qallu). [...] judges had sent (f)K and AI to Nabû-šarru-uṣur, Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna, and [...], royal courtier, who initiated a sitting with Madānu-šarru-uṣur (MŠU), deputy governor of the (tp)Sealand (māt tamti), Ṭābia/Nabû-nādin-šumi//Ḫunzû (Ṭ), Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and the assembly (puḫru) of Babylonians and Urukeans at the Great Gate (bābu rabû) of Eanna. After they read out (šasû) an inscription on (f)Kʼs hand, which proved that she had indeed been dedicated to the Lady of Uruk by (f)Š, AI fled from the assembly.

Written in the presence of MŠU and Ṭ.

4 witnesses.

Scribe: Nādinu/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi
