Lease contract phrased as a dialogue.
The king granted to Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri//Basia (ŠU) and Kalbāya/Iqīša (K) 6000;0 of arable land (zēru), 400 plowmen (ikkaru), 400 oxen, 100 cows for the upkeep of 400 oxen. Each year, half of the land is to be left fallow. Annually, they will provide the Lady of Uruk with 25000;0 of barley, and 10000;0 of dates. The calves will be marked in the name of the Eanna, but will remain at the disposal of ŠU and K.
The first year, the Eanna will deliver to them 3000;0 of barley seed and 10 talents of iron.
ŠU and K are not allowed to encroach on the ḫallatu-orchards of the gardeners (rab banê).

Notes
The text is the duplicate of AO 19924 and of VAT 8418. It is possible that Šumu-ukīn and Kalbāya received each a copy of the document and that the tablets ended in the Eanna after the confiscation of their archive by the temple.
For the title of the bēl pīḫāti ša bīt abi see Jursa 2010, 74-75.
