On the day a witness (mukinnu) or an informer (bātiqu) comes up and testifies that Nergal-nūri, an oblate (širku) of Nergal (and) an Egyptian, fished illegally (ana šigilti) in the irrigation areas (tamirtu) of the Eanna near the royal canal (nār šarri) (and) illegally took away willow wood, poplar wood (ṣarbatu), reeds (qanû) and twigs (ḫuṣabu) from the fields, forest, and irrigation areas of the Eanna, they will make restitution thirtyfold to the Eanna.
In the presence of Nabû-šarru-uṣur, the Royal Overseer of the Eanna (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti).
3 witnesses and the scribe: Ištar-mukīn-apli/Innin-zēru-ušēbši
2 witnesses are also scribes of the Eanna (Nādinu/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi and Mušēzib-Marduk/Bēl-uballiṭ//Amīl-Ea).
