Testimony under oath of two temple-serfs against a third one.

A, a temple-serf (širku) of Ištar of Uruk swore (temû) by Bēl, Nabû, and the adê-oath of Cambyses, to B1, the temple administrator (šatammu), and B2, courtier (ša rēš šarri) and royal supervisor (rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna, that he neither took silver, nor anything else, from the hands of the escaped temple-serfs, nor did he release (muššuru) them.

Following the divine oath of A, however, the two temple-serfs C1 and C2 testified (kunnû) in the assembly (puhru) that A, along with D, did receive 3 shekels of silver and 0;0.3 kor of beer from E1, the groom (šušānu), in Karkara, and then released him. Furthermore, they testified that A also received 2 shekels of silver and 0;0.3 kor of beer from E2, the ploughman (ikkaru) of F in the house of G, and released him as well.

Names of 5 witnesses (the last one is presumably the scribe of the tablet, though this is not stated).
