- Paraphrase
Bēl-ušallim/Erība//Eppēš-ilī and (f)Bēlessunu/Šulāya, his wife, voluntarily (ina ḫūd libbi) gave (nadānu) Šamaš-ittīya, their slave (qallu), to Ibni-Ištar/Marduka, the smith (nappāḫu) (or family name?) for 1 mina of silver. They bear responsibility (pūtu našû) for contestants (sēḫû) and claimants (pāqirānu), as well as the status of royal slave (arad šarrūti) and the status of freeman (mār banûtu) of the slave.
4 witnesses are listed. The scribe is Nabû-bēlšunu/Kudurru//Ekur-zākir, in Uruk.
Note in connection with this text PTS 3054, in which Ibni-Ištar sells Šamaš-ittīya again.
