Paraphrase

Letter of Ardiya (scribe or temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna) to the High Priest (of Eanna, šatammu, Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī), "his lord", answering a message about the impost of the fields of Uruk. The sender admits that he has not yet recorded all the dates, but that he could not contact the recipient after the Royal Resident of Ezida entered Uruk. He offers to contact the storehouse so that they can send the recipient preliminary data on the amount recorded so far; alternatively, the sender assures the recipient that he will record all the dates of Uruk as soon as he is back in the city and will then give this data to the recipient.
