Work agreement between the temple and members of the Rē’i-alpi family. Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, and Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, give Nabû-iqīša/Ibni-Ištar//Rē’i-alpi, and Kidinnu and Kudurrānu/Nabû-nāṣir//Rē’i-alpi 8 months of the dairyman prebend (isiq mār-rēˀût šizbi) that used to belong to Sîn-ibni/Šamaš-mudammiq//Rē’i-alpi and was ascribed to the royal estate (ana makkūr šarri manû). The temple authorities will give them every year 2 cows, their calves, and one oblate to pasture the cows. In return each of the men will provide milk for for the sacred meal (naptanu) of the Lady of Uruk. There follow details about the shares of the prebendaries, their respective contributions, and the retribution they are to receive for their efforts.
