Paraphrase

Letter by Nabû-balāṭ-šarri-iqbi (rent farmer on the Piqūdu Canal) to Nādinu (/Bēl-aḫḫē-Iqīša//Egibi), (temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna) (N), “his brother”, about digging work. The sender states that he sent Zēria and Libluṭ to N to obtain workers from him so that they can work on their section where the sender is. He assures N that their work is not difficult, and requests that either Ardiya (=Arad-Marduk/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Bēl-aplu-uṣur, temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna) or N should come and undertake the section, as everybody else has already taken care of their respective parts except for them. In closing, he informs N that the men N sent to him are for the mustering that N wrote about.
