Paraphrase

The brothers Ištar-šumu-ēreš/Nabû-zēru-līšir//Šangû-Ninurta (IŠE) and Eanna-šadûnu/Nabû-zēru-līšir//Šangû-Ninurta (EŠ) and EŠ’s son Anu-mudammiq return (nasāḫu) two house plots to Eanna.

These plots were initially given to IŠE and EŠ for 11 minas 5 shekels of silver from the treasury of Eanna intended for merchandise (mēreštu), which the brothers never delivered to Eanna. The first plot was located in the Gate of Meslamtea city quarter. In Nbn. 07, Marduk-erība/Aplāya gave it to IŠE and EŠ for 5 minas of silver. The second, built house in the EGAḪALanki city quarter, had initially door jambs installed. Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri gave it to IŠE and EŠ for 6 minas and 5 shekels. The houses have since fallen into disrepair, and doors, roofs, and reeds have been stolen (zabālu).

New prices (šīmu) of the plots were set (parāsu N) in m.VII of Cam. 03 at 2 minas and 4 minas of silver, respectively. The total 6 minas included 1 mina of credit (rašûtu) from Sîn-ēreš/Nabû-šumu-līšir//Ibni-ili and [(f)…]nau, wife of Nabû-šumu-līšir, for which (one of?) the houses were pledged as security. Sîn-aḫu-iddin is mentioned in the context of the rest of the silver in the debt note (u’iltu) of the Lady of Uruk.

All tablets or contracts (riksu) regarding these houses are the property of Eanna, regardless of where they will be found.

Written in the presence of Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādin//Dābibī, High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, Nabû-aḫu-iddin, Royal Overseer (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, and 9 witnesses.

Scribe: Nabû-mukīn-apli/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Balāṭu.
