Paraphrase | Debt note for empty old vats. A, the ploughman (ikkaru) and temple-serf (širku) of Ištar of Uruk, owes (ina muhhi) 24 empty old vats, belonging to (makkūru, lit. property of) Ištar of Uruk and Nanāya. This amount consists of the 14 empty old vats at the disposal (ina qātē) of the tenants (aššābu) of the village Naṣībāta, including (adi) 2 vats of the tenants of the village Bīrāta, as well as the 10 vats of the ploughmen (ikkaru), his workers. He will return (našû-ma nadānu) the vats on the 5th of Kislīmu (IX) in Udannu to B, the royal supervisor (rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna. This is apart (elat) from his outstanding balance (rēhu).
