Letter or Arad-Bēl (/Šarru-ukīn, herdsman and later chief of flocks, rab būli) (AB) to Ḫabāṣīru (/Balāṭu) (Ḫ), "his brother", about a meeting with the sender which the recipient had suggested, but missed. AB now sets a deadline for the recipient to get in contact with him about the appointment, as he will go to Širiktu (maybe Širikti-Kusu, Ḫ’s brother?) after this deadline. Therefore, the recipient needs to write to another man, Šamaš-iddin/Kāṣir (ŠI), as AB will travel back with him once ŠI came to Ḫ from Uruk. He tells the recipient that he waits for his decision on what to do.
AB also reports that he came to an agreement with Iqbaya (I) so that I takes a slave with him. He also reports on a man acting based on the report of Bēl-iddin/Niqūdu, but who failed to go to the High Priest because of it. In closing, AB requests a message from the recipient via Nabû-ittannu/Šamaš-uballiṭ, who Ḫ should instruct to give an order to lead away the lambs born this year.
