Purchase of a garden: A purchases a date garden (kirî gišimmari) for 3 minas and 50 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 7 shekels of silver, from B1. The sold garden is the (inheritance) share (zittu) the seller divided (zâzu) with his uncle B2. It is located in the district (erṣetu) of the Ninurta Temple inside of Uruk. Its upper side borders on (the property of) the seller’s grandfather B3 and its upper front on (the property of) the seller’s uncle B2.
