By Cam. 02.IV.01 Bēl-gimilanni/Madānu-ēreš, oblate of Ištar of Uruk, shall bring (elû Š) 200 vats of sweet date beer, which have been given (to him) from Eanna for the king’s provisioning (šuṣbuttu), and give them to the palace in (tp)Abanu (ālu abanu). Non-compliance will result in the king’s punishment (ḫīṭu clause).
Written in the presence of Nabû-aḫu-iddin, Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna.

- Legacy Paraphrase
Delivery of beer to the royal palace. Bēl-gimlanni/Madān-ēreš, temple oblate (širku), must deliver 200 jars of beer to the royal palace in Abanu within 20 days to cater for the needs (šuṣbūtu) of the king(‘s household). If he fails to do so, he will incur the king’s punishment (ḫīṭu). The agreement is witnessed by Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna. Three further witnesses and Šamaš-ukīn/Nādinu//Egibi, the scribe.
