Letter of Amurru-udammiq (Royal Resident, qīpu), Kudurru (= Nebuchadnezzar II, High Priest, šatammu) and Marduk-šākin-šumi (/Bēl-šumu-iškun //Dābibī, Temple Scribe, ṭupšar bīti), self-designating as “servants” (ardu) to king Nabopolassar (addressed as “king of the lands”), at the occasion of the first sheep shearing under his reign. They assure the king that the senders are praying for him and against his enemies twice to the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanaya and that everything is well with the service (maṣṣartu) of the temple, the temple of the king’s gods, wishing for an everlasting reign.
