Formatting remarks
The text contains a high number of erasures, giving the impression of being a palimpsest. As the sender is a temple scribe, this is unexpected. As this is an answer to a letter sent to NAI in (tp)Bīt-Amukānu, it was either brought back from there or we may be dealing with a copy left at the temple, which could have been written on an already existing tablet, furthering the notion of this text being a palimpsest.

Paraphrase

Letter of Nādinu (/Bēl-aḫḫē-Iqīša//Egibi), (temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna) (N) to Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) (NAI), "his lord", replying to a statement by NAI that the workers of Sukkāya should be with him, informing NAI that he saw only three of these workers and asks whether he should give them allowances (kurummatu) to all the workers he sees. He informs NAI that he wants to send corvée workers which N equips on a journey. N also answers NAI’s inquiry on the corvée labour for (tp)Ḫuṣāti, specifically on oblates (širku), telling him that the Governor (bēl pīḫati) paid for their corvée labour and requesting an answer by NAI about this.
