Ṣilli-Nanaya and Tērik-šarrūssu address the High Priest (of Eanna, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), their lords, about dates that the recipients brought (našû) to them, informing them that ships needed for transport had gone upstream and that they are now waiting for a message which Zēru-ukīn and Nabû-karābī-išme sent to their brothers about the ships. They assure them that they will load (malû) the first boats available and ask about instructions concerning the boats of the (City) Governor (šākin ṭēmi). They also provide information on men about whom one of the recipients (bēlu, lord, singular) told them that only 6 men went downstream and that the son of Lâbâši went with them for a whole month. In closing, the senders inquire about their lord’s (bēlu, singular) well-being.
