Paraphrase

Letter of Anu-šarru-uṣur (AŠU) (Royal Resident) to Nādin (N) (temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna), his brother, from a construction site. AŠU complains about Balāṭu(/Ina-tēšî-ēṭir)’s (chief of oblates, rab širki) and his work at the site. The two of them took silver for ten talents of wool from Ērišu (E) and Zabdī (Z). Five minas of wool each are from Šamaš-udammiq’s and Nanāya-iddin’s unit of fifty (ḫanšû). The letter tells N to give E and Z the amount of wool in kur.ra-blankets in exchange for AŠU’s debt note and emphasizes his request (ḫarrānu ana šēpē šakānu).
