Paraphrase

Letter of Anu-šarru-uṣur (AŠU) (Royal Resident, qīpu) to the High Priest (šatammu, Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "his brothers", about his high expenses (ina nisḫi ṭebû). He requests barley and dates for his starving workers to be delivered by ship through 1 slave (ardu). He also requests silver. Despite the already bad supply situation, AŠU demands that the senders return workers to his project who were diverted to chiefs of fifty (rab ḫanšē), and orders that a debt note be written about this. He informs the recipients that the chiefs of fifty will leave for work soon.
