Paraphrase

Letter of Anu-šarru-uṣur (Royal Resident, qīpu) to the High Priest (šatammu, Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "his brothers", vehemently demanding barley for salaries for his workers as they have none (indattu šakānu), including specific instructions about how Nidintu (chief of fifty, rab ḫanšē) should bring the barley to him. He emphasizes the pressure on his workers because of the lack of salaries (samû). The deliveries should be done quickly (kapdu, ḫarrānu ana šēpē šakānu).
