Paraphrase

Letter of Anu-šarru-uṣur (AŠU) (Royal Resident, qīpu) to Nidinti-Bēl (/Nabû-mukīn-zēri/Dābibī) (High Priest, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "his brothers", complaining about his workload in, among others, (tp)Laḫīru. AŠU has to deliver 1000 beams (gušūru) for three different projects: a flour grinder’s shop (bīt qēmēti), a storehouse (bīt qātē) and work in (tp)Laḫīru. AŠU requests 5 minas of silver and beams and gives concrete instructions on how to proceed with the beams – where they should be handed over to his messenger and that they should be transported by ship. He also specifies that he is the only one allowed to sell the beams, and that he sells them for inspected silver (amāru). AŠU invokes the king to underline his authority (ana šarri ina libbāti qabû). He expresses urgency (kapdu, nubattu lā bâtu) and requests a report from the letter recipients (ṭēmu lū šemû).
