Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin(//Šamšēa) purchases a baker’s prebend (nuḫatimmūtu) from Ṭuppušu/Bēlšunu (Ṭ).

The prebendary service is performed before Nanāya from the 16th to the 18th day of m.III.

50 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is paid together with (or: including, adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver. Ṭ relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.

Written during the incumbency (lit.: days, ūmu) of Nabû-udammiq(/Zēr-Bābili), the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and Gimillu(/Nadnāya), the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and in the presence of 3 witnesses (the name of the 3rd one is followed by a Personenkeil and a blank space).

The document includes a clause concerning fingernail impressions of Ṭ, but their presence or absence is not indicated in the edition.

The year is designated as "the 4th year of the closing of the gate" (šatti erbetti edēl bābi)

Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Nanāya for 3 days, from the 16^th to the 18^th of Simān (III) of the following year, for 50 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-udammiq) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu). 4 witnesses  and the scribe, also defined as writer of the tablet (šaṭir ṭuppi). The transaction takes place in the 4th year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
