Summon of a man to Uruk in order to litigate with the temple authorities before the royal judges over a slave.
A has to come (alāku, ventive) to Uruk on the 7th of Addar (XII) 5 Cyr. There, before (ina pāni) the royal judges (dayyānu šarri) he will litigate (dīnu dabābu) against (itti) B1, the temple administrator (šatammu), and B2, the royal supervisor (rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna.
The case involves an unnamed slave (amīlūtu) whom C, A’s father received (mahāru, Pret.) from D. The temple is now demanding this slave from A in lieu of D's outstanding balance (rēhu ina muhhi) to the temple (which the temple was clearly unable to collect directly from D). If A will not come, he will have to pay the costs (amīlūtu u mandattu) for the period (ultu muhhi) he had the slave at his disposal (ina pāni).
Names of 3 witnesses and a scribe.
