Paraphrase

Nergal-nāṣir/Nanāya-ibni (NN) concludes a lease contract which is phrased as a dialogue.

NN obtained from Nabû-šarru-uṣur, the Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna and from the officials of the Eanna (bēl piqnēti), the right to lease an arable land (zēru), classified as low-quality land (kaslu and kālû) of the Lady of Uruk, within (tp)Sumandar. It is the remaining portion of arable land (zēru) that [Šumu-ukīn had not obtained]. It extends from the (tp)Aššurītu district to the (tp)Ḫidū district, on the canal of (tp)Sippar.

The annual rent amounts to 1320+;0 of barley (uṭṭatu), 60;0 of sesam (šamaššammû), and 20;0 of cress (saḫlû), to be delivered at the (tp)Big Watercourses (mû rabûti), according to the measure of the Lady of Uruk (mašīḫu). Apart from the surplus (rēḫānū) and the claims (rašūtu) regarding the flock (ṣēnu) and the full-grown cows of the Lady of Uruk, that gaze there, he is not entitled to them.

8 witnesses and the scribe Nādinu/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi
