Fragmentary protocol of some legal dispute. It is a matter involving witnesses in whose presence Šamaš-erība/Nabû-taqbi-līšir//Bā'iru and Šamaš-zēru-līšir/Šamaš-šumu-līšir spoke to Kalbāya/Iqīša, the agent (bēl piqitti) of Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri//Basia, the rent farmer of the Eanna (ša muḫḫi sūti). The issue concerns a decision, possibly about an excavation (ḫi-ru-ú-tu?), taken ten days earlier on Nbn 4.VI.4.
4 or 5 witnesses and the scribe Balāṭu/Mušēzib-Bēl.
Note
Šamaš-zēru-līšir/Šamaš-šumu-līšir is twice attested as one of the estimators of the prospective harvest (see Kümmel 1979, 108).
