Mušēzib-Marduk/Kiribtu//Sîn-nāṣir purchases an inheritance share (zittu) in three plots within and outside of Uruk from Nabû-nādin-šumi/Šulāya//Ṭābia (NDŠ). They formerly belonged to Šulāya/(Aḫḫēa)//Ṭābia, father of NDŠ.

The first one, a grove, is located in the meadowland (ugāru) of Uruk. It is adjacent to the (tp)Royal Canal (nār šarri) and the properties of Kudurru/Nabû-naˀid, Nādinu/Ērešu and Pirˀu/Bēl-useppi. The land had belonged to Aḫḫēa/Aplāya//Ṭābia, the grandfather of NDŠ.

The second plot is unbuilt land (bīt kišubbî) located in Uruk in the quarter (erṣetu) of the (tp)Gate of […] (bāb [...]). It is adjacent to the wide street, the thoroughfare of the god and the king, the narrow street and the house plots of Ilūa/Šullumu, […]/Šullumu, and Nabû-erība//Šāpiku.

The third plot is arable land (zēru) cultivated for grain (pī šulpi) located in the meadowland of the (tp)Angillu irrigation district (tamirtu Angillu) and by the upper (tp)Royal Canal (nār šarri elûtu) in the meadowland of Uruk.

15 minas of silver are declared (maḫīru nabû) as the purchase price. The payment of 34+[...] minas (see Notes) of silver in pieces (šibirtu) is received. NDŠ relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his family.

14 witnesses, including Nabû-mūkin-zēri, City Priest (šangû) of Larsa.

The document includes the clause concerning fingernail impressions of NDŠ, and the tablet is marked with them.

Notes:

There is a vast discrepancy between the purchase price and the paid one. Presumably, it is a mistake made by an ancient scribe or a modern copyist (Frame 2013: 158-159).

Purchase of land and an empty house: A purchases three parcels of land for 34(+?) minas of silver in pieces (šibirtu) from B. The three parcels of land include the half share (ahu) of an orchard (kirû), an empty house plot (bītu kišubbû) and a piece of grain-cultivated land (zēru pî šulpi). The orchard is located in the meadowland (ugāru) of Uruk. Its upper side, its lower side and its upper front borders on the houses of C₁, C₂ and C₃. Its lower front follows the royal canal (nār šarri). No cardinal directions for the sides of the orchard are given. The empty house plot is located in the district (erṣetu) of the Market Gate (bāb mahīri) inside Uruk. Its upper side (in the west) borders on the thoroughfare (mūtaqu) of the god and the king and its lower side (in the east) on the house of C₄. Its upper front (in the north) borders on the house(s) of C₅ and C₆ and its lower front (in the south) on the narrow street (sūqu qatnu). The plot of cultivated land is located in the meadowland of the Angillu irrigation district (tamirtu) and along the upper (elû) royal canal (nār šarri) in the meadowland of Uruk. Neither cardinal directions for the sides nor any other information about the bordering areas are given. No side lengths are given for any of the three plots. All this is the (inheritance) share (zittu) which B₂, the father of the seller, received from B₃, the grandfather of the seller. 15 witnesses (including the priest [šangû] of Larsa) and the scribe.
