Kunāya/Nabû-šumu-ēreš//Kurī purchases a plot with a ruined house (bītu abtu) from Mukīn-zēri/Ḫašdia//Bēl-eṭēri (MK). It formerly belonged to Ṣillāya/Nazia.

The plot is located in the quarter (erṣetu) of the (tp)Ditch of Aškaˀītu (ḫarru ša Aškaˀītu) in Uruk. It is adjacent to a wide street, a thoroughfare of the god and the king, to a narrow street, and to the house plots of Iqišāya/Ša-Nabû-šū, and Marduk-nāṣir/Šulāya. This is the agreed area under sale, irrespective of whether the plot is found to be larger or smaller (atār u maṭû mala bašû) (upon measuring).

4 minas of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is received together with (adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of 4 shekels of silver. MK relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household.

Written in the presence of Šamaš-zēru-iqīša/Marduk-šarrāni//Gimil-Nanāya, the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and 5 witnesses. Space is left for the names of 3 additional witnesses, but only Personenkeile were written.

Scribe: Nabû-balāssu-iqbi/Marduk-erība//Itinnu, “writer of the tablet” (šāṭir ṭuppi).
