Paraphrase

Letter of Šamaš-uballiṭ and Marduk-šumu-līšir to Nādinu (/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi), Mūrānu (Nabû-bāni-aḫi//Ekur-zākir) and Balāṭu (/Sîn-ibni//Rēˀi-alpi) (temple scribes, ṭupšarru ša Eanna), “their fathers”, about barley from (tp)Udannu. He reports that Nabû-aḫu-iddin (NAI) (possibly Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) gave 170;0 of it to Ardiya (A) and their share (zittu, spelled zi-<ti>-i-ni) went into the underground store (kalakku). NAI also gave 30;0 of barley for the cattle shed and the sheep shed and 7 1/2;0 for the regular offering. The senders request 437 talents of crude bitumen and report that A has already sent 121 talents of icrude bitumen.
