In the assembly (puḫru) of freemen (mār banî), Bābu-ēreš/Nabû-aḫu-uṣur (BE), shepherd of sheep and goats of Eanna, who is under the management of (ša qātē) Arad-Bēl/Šarru-ukīn, chief of flocks (rab būli), recounts how Būdia (B) and Ša-Nabû-taqum (ŠBT), slaves (lamutānu) of Kināya/Raḫim (K) beat him up (ṭerû), wounded(?) him (ḫepû D(?); alternatively, “struck him” ḫapāpu), and seized (katāmu) the sheep and goats, property of the Lady of Uruk that was at K’s disposal (ina pāni), from the irrigation district (tamirtu) on the land (qaqqaru) of Ištar.

By the 1^st day of m.III, K will bring B and ŠNT to Uruk, and they will litigate (dīnu dabābu) with BE before royal judges. If he does not bring them, K will reimburse (eṭēru) the Lady of Uruk for the deficit (miṭītu).

Court statement of Bāba-ēreš/Nabû-aḫu-uṣur, temple shepherd (re’û). He accuses Budiya and Ša-Nabû-taqûm, servants (lamutānū) of Kīnāya/Raḫimmu of assaulting him and stealing sheep from him in the presence of Arad-Bēl/Šarru-kīn, chief of the cattle (rab būli), in the council (kiništu) of the mār bānê. Kīnāya must bring his two servants early next month before the king's tribunal. If they do not show up, Kīnāya will have to reimburse the temple for the deficit of the herd of Bāba-ēreš.
