Case of fraudulent appropriation of temple oblates

(Concerning) (f)Ḫannā (Ḫ), an oblate (zakîtu) of the Eanna, who is marked with the star, and because (f)Bu’iti/Ša-pî-Bēl, the wife of Šumu-ukīn(/Bēl-zēri//Basia), had the hand of her daughters (= of Ḫ) (f)Ina-Nanāya-ultarraḫ and (f)Ina-qātē-Nanāya-šākin inscribed.
The freemen (mār banê) examined (amāru) the inscription of (f)Ḫannā, marked with the temple's star; of her daughters, one bears on her hand the name of (f)Bu’iti, and the other the name of (f)Li’udu-Nanāya.

In the presence of:
Nabû-šarru-uṣur, the Royal Overseer of the Eanna (rēš šarri bēl piqitti);
Marduk-bulliṭanni, the Keeper of the Royal Box in Eanna (rēš šarri ša muḫḫi quppi ajakki);
Innin-šarru-uṣur/Nergal-ušallim//Sîn-lēqi-unnīnī;
Marduk-šumu-iddin/Nabû-aḫḫē-bulliṭ//Balāṭu;
Madānu-aḫḫē-iddin/Gimillu//Šigûa;
Nabû-ēṭir-napšāti/Arad-Bēl//Egibi;
Kiribti/Nādinu//Bābūtu;
Nabû-mukīn-zēri/Nādinu//Dābibī;
Nabû-mušētiq-uddi/Balāssu//Damqa.

Note
(f)Li’udu-Nanāya may have been the daughter of (f)Bu’iti and Šumu-ukīn; according to G. Tolini 2002, the oblate was probably given as part of her dowry.
