Paraphrase

Letter of Šūzubu to Marduk-šākin-šumi (/Bēl-šumu-iškun//Dābibī, High Priest, šatammu) and Nādinu (= Nabû-nādin-šumi/Bēl-šumu-iškun//Dābibī, Temple Scribe, ṭupšar bīti), “his brothers”, asking them to provide a guide and provisions for Bēl-na’id, whom the sender sent to the Sealand about the share in the harvest (as rent) (šibšu). He also asks for madder (for dyeing) worth 1 mina of silver to be delivered to him via a messenger, and in return, he will send back white sesame worth the same through the messenger. The broken closing passage mentions a man named Marduk-nāṣir.
