Paraphrase

Badly damaged letter of Anu-aḫu-iddin (AAI) (Governor of Uruk, šākin ṭēm Uruk) to the Royal Resident (qīpu), High Priest (šatammu), Temple Scribe of Eanna (ṭupšar bīti), Zēria, […], Bēl-[…], Mušallim-Marduk […] mentioning the king repeatedly, a royal decision regarding Babylon and quoting the king on exempting all Urukeans from the service for the house of the chief official in charge of agrarian matters (bīt mašenni), transferring them to Nabû-šumu-ukīn (likely the king’s brother). AAI assures the addressees that he is praying for them, and that he is taking care of their duties (maṣṣartu). The letter wishes blessings (karābu) upon the king and the king’s son (Nebuchadnezzar) and asks for the reports and of the well-being of the recipients (ṭēmu lū šemû).
