Paraphrase

Nabû-kibsu-uṣur (NKU), Royal Resident (qīpu) of Ebabbar, owes Eanna 41 head of cattle, adult and young, payable by the 1st day of m.VII. Besides, he shall also bring Ibni-Nabû/Balāṭu (IN), who owes these animals to Eanna as remainder (rēḫu) of the years Nbk. 19–21, and who guaranteed to bring them in Nbk. 21 m.X, but failed to do so. If NKU should fail, too, he will give to Eanna the cows and their offspring (tālittu). Previous debt notes (uʼiltu) are broken (ḫepû). This is apart from oxen which are at the disposal (ina pāni) of Bānītušu/Ḫazānu.

6 witnesses.

Scribe: Nabû-bān-aḫi/Ibnāya//Ekur-zakir.

The full name of NKU is Nabû-kibsi-šarri-uṣur; cf. PTS 2085, VAT 18678.

According to San Nicolò (1956) the number of cattle is 51.
