Paraphrase Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Kanisurra until the end of the present month for 25 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-ušabši) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Nabû-iqīša). 5 witnesses (including Nabû-šar-ahhēšu, a brother of B) and the scribe, also defined as writer of the tablet (šaṭir ṭuppi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
