Paraphrase

Letter of Balāṭu (/Nabû-ušallim//Rēˀi-ginê, offering shepherd, rēˀi ginê) to the High Priest (of Eanna, šatammu, Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī), "his lord", about meeting royal Aramaic scribes (sēpiru) and having fodder shipped to them. He approached the topic of buying sheep and they required a gift from him to make a sale of sheep against goods (barley or dates) in (tp)Ur, so he now requests 20 shekels of silver and a well-arranged offering via Nabû-ēṭer-napšāti. In closing, he states that he went with them to (tp)Larsa.
