Paraphrase

The tablet lays out the obligation of A to deliver livestock for the temple for the daily offerings (sattukku).

A, the overseer of herds (rab būli) of the Lady-of-Uruk, should bring in (abāku) male lambs (kalūmu) to the temple by the 25th of Šabāṭ (XI) 2 Camb. The lambs are to be taken from the sheep and goats (ṣēnu) of Eanna that are at the disposal (ina pāni) of the herdsmen (nāqidu) under A’s control (ṣābu qātē) and those under B’s control. The animals which will deliver to the temple are for the offerings of the Lady-of-Uruk. A guarantees (pūtu našû) for the continuity of the regular offerings (ginû).

If a mistake befalls (hīṭu bašû), A will bear (šadādu) the punishment (hīṭu) of C, governor (pīhātu) of Babylon and Across-the-River.

The tablet was written in the presence (ina ušuzzu) of D, the temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna. Witnesses (mukinnu): E1 the courtier (ša rēši), E2, and E3. Scribe (ṭupšarru): F.
