By Cam. 02.XI.25 Arad-Bēl/Šarru-ukīn (AB), chief of flocks (rab būli) of the Lady of Uruk, will bring the male kalūmu-lambs from the sheep and goats of the Lady of Uruk that are due from the herdsmen (nāqidu) under the command of AB and Iqīša* and give (them) to Eanna for the regular offering of the Lady of Uruk. He guarantees for the regular offerings (ginû) of the Lady of Uruk. If a mistake occurs (ḫīṭu bašû), this will result in the punishment (ḫīṭu clause) of Gubāru, Governor (paḫātu) of Babylonia and (tp)Across-the-River (eber nāri).

Written in the presence of Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna.

3 witnesses including Bēl-eṭēri-Nabû, royal courtier (ša rēš šarri).

The tablet lays out the obligation of A to deliver livestock for the temple for the daily offerings (sattukku).

A, the overseer of herds (rab būli) of the Lady-of-Uruk, should bring in (abāku) male lambs (kalūmu) to the temple by the 25th of Šabāṭ (XI) 2 Camb. The lambs are to be taken from the sheep and goats (ṣēnu) of Eanna that are at the disposal (ina pāni) of the herdsmen (nāqidu) under A’s control (ṣābu qātē) and those under B’s control. The animals which A will deliver to the temple are for the offerings of the Lady-of-Uruk. A guarantees (pūtu našû) for the continuity of the regular offerings (ginû).

If a mistake befalls (hīṭu bašû), A will bear (šadādu) the punishment (hīṭu) of C, governor (pīhātu) of Babylon and Across-the-River.

The tablet was written in the presence (ina ušuzzu) of D, the temple administrator (šatammu) of Eanna. Witnesses (mukinnu): E1 the courtier (ša rēši), E2, and E3. Scribe (ṭupšarru): F.

Injunction to Arad-Bēl/Šarru-ukīn, chief herdsman (rab būli), to deliver lambs intended for the regular offerings of Ištar from the flocks under the control of his herdsmen (nāqidu). He has 10 days to bring the lambs of his flocks to Uruk and deliver them to Eanna. If he fails to do so, he will incur punishment (ḫīṭu) of the governor of Babylon and Transeuphrates, Gubaru. The order is witnessed by Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna. Three further witnesses and Nādinu/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi, the scribe.
