Before 8 freemen (mār banî) Ana-Eanna-tūr, gatekeeper (atû) of the royal workshop (bīt šutummi), Rēmūtu, gatekeeper of the Gate of Wellbeing (bāb salīmi), and Lā-qīpu/Rēmūtu reed worker, tell Nidinti-Bēl/Nabû-mukīn-zēri//Dābibī, High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and Nabû-aḫu-iddin, Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) of Eanna, that Basia/Nabû-kēšir, oblate of the Lady of Uruk, escaped from the royal workshop, broke free from his iron shackles (semeru), ran away, and drew an iron dagger (patru), when they ran after him, and that they took him and this iron dagger to Eanna, after they caught him at the Gate of Wellbeing. The men in the assembly inspected (amāru) the dagger, tied and sealed it (rakāsu kanāku) and deposited (paqādu) it in Eanna.

Deposition of Ana-Eanna-turru, porter of the royal storehouse (bīt šutummu), Rēmūt, the porter of the Gate of Well-being (bāb šulmi), Lāqip/Rēmūt, the reed worker (atkuppu), in front of an assembly of mār banê, including members of the Dābibī, Šigû’a, Ḫanab, Nūr-Sîn, Sîn-lēqi-unninni, and Ḫunzû. They inform Nidinti-Bēl/Nabû-mukīn-zēri//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, and Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna, that the oblate (širku) Basiya/Nabû-kišir had escaped from the royal storehouse and had drawn an iron dagger to stop them from pursuing him, before being stopped at the Gate of Well-being. The assembly inspected the dagger and stored it in Eanna. Murānu/Nabû-bān-aḫi//Ekur-zākir serves as the scribe.
