Court judgement regarding the tasks and the connected prebend of Anu-nādin-šumi/Ištar-aḫu-iddin//Itinnu, porter (atû) of the Bīt akīti of Ištar. He had fled and left the building unguarded and as a consequence the bronze hooks of the doors of the inner cellas and the bronze mountings of the wooden stand of the ḫarû-container of the Lady of Uruk were taken away. Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, temporarily assigned a temple oblate (širku), Eanna-šarru-uṣur, to the position of porter, but was then contacted by Innin-mukīn-apli/Itti-Šamaš-balāṭu//Itinnu, Anu-nādin-šumi’s paternal cousin, who asked to take up both the watch and the prebendary duties (including bringing the sacrificial meals to the altars), as well as the privileges connected therewith. Five witnesses, but no scribe.
